We love you, we love you, we love you and where you play we follow, we follow, we follow cause we support St. Pauli, St. Pauli, St. Pauli and thats the way we like it, we like it, we like it

Miche
I was wondering what people thought of this idea. Maybe creating a short list of like 10 chants, that were the more official chants. Those would be the chants that are the strongest. All the Voyageurs would show everyone they're bringing videos of the chants being sung and send them the lyrics etc... so that everyone knows those chants by heart, and they're super strong, and are likely to be easy enough for the rest of the crowd to pick up on. I mean I can't wait to sing at the next game, but there's no way I'm going to remember even half of these in this thread. It's just too daunting, I'm pretty sure I'm not alone. I would say we should make a list of the ten, already strongest, easiest to pick up, most awesomest, chants we have. And it would be a lot easier for the different sections in the stadium to be on the same page as well. So I would suggest. Well "canada clap clap clap" is so obvious I won't even number it. 1. 7 nation army (everyone knows that one) 2. The massive duh 3. Oh when the reds go marching in (everyone knows, easy to pick up) 4. For the Montreal game I would have to suggest that song "ole ole ole.." the one they stole for hockey games. 5. we're red we're white we're f'ing dynamite (if the kiddies aren't with their parents they'll love doing this one. So those are 5 I think have the greatest potential to be huge. What do you guys think of the idea? And obviously we can argue which other 5 should be part of the main ten. Sam
I think we need to stop getting away from chants and get more songs. Harder to coordinate, but sounds much better. Top European teams have many more songs than chants and Canada should follow.

MegasAlexandros1555362277
I got this idea after watching the Canada-SVG in Montreal... the first time I ever watched the men's national team live. It uses the tune from the PAOK chant "OOOOOO PAOKARA": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ljzk6598fjg The video is from one of the event of the clubs 80th anniversary celebrations. The translated lyrics from Greek would be: OOOO PAOKara, you're a sickness, in my miiiind Wherever you play I will always follow you For you I will die, and I only live for you ... So I thought up a version for the MNT with the following lyrics: OOOO Canada... you'er a sickness, in my miiiind Wherever you play, I'll be right by your side Reeeed and White 'til the day that I die ... Whatta you guys think??

Miche
hmm I woke up with this in my head, don't know if my subconscious stole this from someone else or came up with it in the night.. I know there's already a lot of DE-RO songs but I'll throw it out there anyway.. to the tune of B-I-N-G-O! There was a man who scored a goal and De-Ro was his name-o DE-RO-SA-RI-O x3 And DE-RO was his name-o! Reduce the number of syllables each time as per usual. theaub
Rogers Centre security thinks that if you swear it means you're a drunk teenager who is going to throw beer on some random person due to your inept drunkness and then fight another group of drunk teenagers. They need to take a trip to the site of their old stadium to see how you're supposed to run stadium security.

Soju
^Bingo chant rules. I have a suggestion for how we might adapt "The Massive" as sung by TFC supporters, to the nats. This chant was originally copied from the RC Lens chant here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MeY575iliJw&feature=related And as our friends in Quebec have pointed out, the TFC version has strayed from the original rhythm of the chant. To simplify this chant for non French speakers and get it closer to the original pacing I suggest making a simple change. from A: Qu'est-ce que vous chantez? B: Nous chantons le rouge allez! to --> Qu'est-ce que vous chantez? B: CA-NA-DAA allez! Holding the DAA for two beats makes it a six syllable verse, matching the original Lens refrain of Et nous chant Lens allez!
Markus
That bingo idea is fantastic. Let's make it happen. Also the "qu'est ce que vous chantez" is pretty sweet. That video alone almost turned me into a Lens fan.
