nolando
"Definitely the coffee cup incident against Forest." Forgive my ignorance but what's that in reference to?
Guest Can. in UK
I am pretty sure he's referring to a goal he scored last year. The shot was going wide, and then it hit a coffee cup (which was blowing across the pitch) and was re-directed into the net.
Loud Mouth Soup
"Watching on the telly in Canada, you're starved of football - there isn't any! But then you come here and there's fooball on and mad fans going crazy for it." Uhhhh...Paul hasn't been home in some time, has he?
Polish_LYNX_Fan
that coffe cup must have been made from some hard cardboard to rederect that shot:)

He does have a point, especially when it comes to the domestic game.
elricko
I thought it a great interview, and obviously Paul has a terrific positive attitude, is thankful for what he has, and bring on the future.
Cheeta
That's a pretty good read! Well, that's that for Pesch. He's an Englander now I guess and comfortable enough with it, it seems. Bit about getting into property development made me smile. Brother married into an ethnic Italian family and they're all into "property development" in one fashion or another. One property develops with a trowel, another property develops with a hammer, so on so forth. Guess it sound better in the interview than "I like to drywall". Daniel
Well, Pesch is right in a way about soccer. All we have in Canada are games; other than Soccercentral which is pretty much just highlights, we don't have shows on analysis and other peripheral content. Think about all the shows we have that surround hockey. It's not just about the games.
Peschfan
It was a nice interview, it would be nice if canada had some more analysis shows on the games like they do for hockey.
